Fontana Park

BMLA took the lead on this 38-acre, award-winning project in Fontana, California. Fontana Park encompasses the 43,000-square foot Jesse Turner Health and Fitness Community Center, an aquatics center, a 25,000-square foot skate park, and multiple interactive play areas, including a kinetic sculpture garden, a sunken ship playground, an interactive chess board, and a wonder of nature playground. It includes an amphitheater, dog park, landscaped promenade, and walking paths throughout. BMLA designed the landscape and hardscape, selected the amenities and play features, coordinated with all of the sub-contractors and the City, and organized and moderated all community outreach meetings.
